There once was a poets’ contest
Where you had to be the worst instead of the best
You can write in all different styles
So the process doesn’t take a while
And Oz and I are here to pick the worst
Woooowooooo! A Limerick in honor of my fellow poet Oz to announce that we are co-hosting the Bad Poetry Day Contest to celebrate Bad Poetry Day on August 18th. As Oz says:
Hi everyone, Ku’s Mama here. Kuruk is a bit upset right now because I have decided that we need to have his bump biopsied/removed. He does not like to go to the doctor, and he especially does not like to be somewhere without me, so he is not too happy at the moment.
His bump had grown since we went to the Vet a few weeks ago. The Vet said it looked like a histiocytoma, a benign flesh-colored bump that goes away in a couple of months, so we decided to watch and monitor. It had grown into what looks more like a wart, still flesh-colored, and it did not bother him the least bit. Yesterday afternoon it started to look greyish, and this morning it is part black and red.
Tomorrow morning (Friday) I will take him in for the biopsy. He has to be sedated because of his size (nearly 90 pounds) and the fact that only I can touch him and prod him without him moving and escaping. Did I mention he doesn’t like the doctor?
Besides the change in the bump, he seems healthy. No change in behavior, eating, or poops. No swollen lymph nodes (I check every day), nothing abnormal. So, hopefully it’s just a nasty wart and not some sort of malignancy.
Ku will not be able to post tomorrow morning, but will hopefully be inspired to compose his Haiku in a day or two. Please send Ku your thoughts and prayers and love!
Thank you,
MamaBear

Ok, Mama says it’s time for bed. Good Night to all my wonderful blog friends! Wooooooowooooooo!
Hello to all students, seekers, and readers out there. I am Shri Swami Sattvapurrrrrananda, but my family calls me Zoe, which means Life, which I AM. I AM also very beautiful and am referred to also as a lioness princess puppy cat. Yes, you heard that right. I was raised by a Husky, so I believe that I am part snow pup. I heard that the youngest member of our pack, little sistah Nalle, got to be a butt-in blogger, so I insisted that I should have the privilege to be a guest blogger since I am the oldest member of our pack (besides Mama of course). I will be twelve in a few weeks, but I don’t look a day older than two! I AM beautiful!
As some of you already know, I AM also the esteemed author of the book, Daily Yoga for a Happy and Healthy Cat. It is the last and only book you (humans, pups, all sentient beings, and especially felines) will ever need to read to be as enlightened, free, youthful, healthy, happy, and as beautiful as me!
As you can see, I AM truly very, very beautiful! And it is very important that others tell me how beautiful I AM on a regular basis. It helps others to move past their egos to acknowledge how beautiful they, their lives, and everyone around them are, especially me because I AM.
May you all find peace and bliss within, and have a relaxing day! Me-Om!
As B.K.S. Iyengar said: If one stretches completely, one relaxes completely. Look at a cat, a master of stretching and a master of relaxation.
