Beauwoooowooootiful Misaki. She looks a lot my my sisfur-at-home Nalle!

Wooooohoooooowoooooo Efurrybuddy! I’m on a roll with the haiku jammin’! WOL! Today I present to you a haiku jam with my sisfur-from-another-mother Misaki, who lives far far away across a big big big pond!

Thank Dog fur the interputerwebbernetz bloggyworld, because we snow pups rarely like to get wet and swim, and I would not have found Misaki! If you don’t know her already, you don’t have to run and swim thousands of miles either. Just clicky right here to read about The Misadventures of Misaki!

Here are our pawsome tummy rub (or belly rub – that’s British! WOL!) themed haiku jam. Mine are in purple, and Misaki’s are in red:

Me and Nalle love

The vital for existence

Pawesome tummy rubs

Warm hands rub and soothe

Soft caress of fur and skin

Love revealed in touch

I grab Mama’s legs

When she tries to walk past me

More tummy rubs please!

Legs and back stretch out

Eyes closed, mouth wide, tongue peaking

Please don’t ever stop

They’re the bestest thing

I will never get enough

Belly-tummy rubs

Lovely, heavenly

Wonderful and marvelous

Belly rubs are best

Almost as good are

Rubs behind the ears and chin

Back massages too

Fingers deep in fur

Soft and thick and fluffy too

I’d purr if I could

Thank you, thank youwoowoooooooo Misaki! If anybuddy, even if you are not a Malamute, wants to jam with me, just send me or Mama an email here.

Thank youwooowooooooo Rumpy and Miss Jen fur so much fun. Oh, and Rump…wooooowoooo wooo wooooooo woowooooowooowoooo wooo? WOL!

And here is our Malamute themed haiku jam. Mine are in purple, and Rumpy’s are in blue:

Malamutes unite

To write haiku together

Extra cookies please?

Malamute smack down

Sharing rhymes, talking some trash

And singing my woos!

We sing for our treats

And harmonize with sirens

The call of the wild

Treats? Did you say treats?

As in, dare I ask, cookies?

I want a cookie

Cookies are great treats

Sardines and bacon better

Did you shop for me?

True, I do eat meat,

But for treats, I’m herbivore

Peanut butter, please

Peanut butter YUCK!

I may be the only pup

Who does not like it!!!

Mmm….peanut butter!

Chick peas are another fave!

Now I am hungry

Eating times at home

Breakfast time and din-din time

Treats any time please!

But before there’s treats

A romp outside to make sure

No squirrel invasion

And check for raccoons

Those sneaky stealthy food thieves

Must inspect the yard

Then time for a nap

To dream of my adventures

And those yet to come

Haiku Jam with Buffy, the Poetic Kitty!

buffy portrait web

Miss Buffy

Wooooohooooowoooooooo Efurrybuddy! I have been a busy poetic pup in my semi-retirement! WOL! Today I present to you a Haiku Jam with the Beauwoowooootiful poetic kitty Buffy, Miss Firebonnet’s kitty. Go visit them here, and see all the pawesome photography and the rest of the furry family!

Thank youowooowooooo Buffy for the funfunfun! Here is our Haiku Jam. We chose a Springtime theme. Mine are in purple, and Buffy’s are in pink:

Springtime weather’s here

Did it ever go away?

The snow never came

Snow or no snow

Few birds to watch in winter

Spring is for feathers

Down feathers of babes

Drift about in the warm breeze

Flowers blossoming

Springtime is sneeze time

With tall grasses to hide in

The rain comes at night

Rain, rain, go away

Don’t like my fur to get wet

Sun and cool is best

Cool is nice for Ku

I am a creature of heat

Basking in light divine

On hot sunny days

I dig holes to stay cool in

And play with ice cubes

Hot days turn to night

Prowling through the neighborhood

Scents and sounds heighten

Hot nights snow pups sleep

Mama and furblings nearby

Dream of winter nights

I dream in Mom’s arms

Silly cattledog is near

Maybe he needs love

Kisses and cuddles

Ear scritches and tummy rubs

Love grows in the Spring

Ku you fill my heart

Your fur could serve as my nest

But too hot for spring!
