Today is one of the Blog the Change For Animals days! Blog the Change asks:

What have you done to Be the Change for Animals?
Who do you know who acts tirelessly on the behalf of animals?
What favorite cause has a special need right now?

As many of you know, animal rescue is near and dear to my heart. I wrote my book, Kuruk: The Little Bear That Could, One Rescue Pup’s Journey of Healing, to raise money for animal rescue organizations. You can order it through Create Space or Amazon or Barnes & Noble. Also: Amazon Canada, Amazon UK, Amazon India, and other international Amazon stores.

I’d like to also announce that I’ve made my first donation to the Washington Alaskan Malamute Adoption League (WAMAL). They are the pawesome people who flew me from Alaska to Seattle, where my Mama found me! Wooooohoooooowooooooooo!

Also sisfur Zoe, the great Shri Swami Sattvapurrrrrranada, is also raising money for animal rescue with her book, Daily Yoga for a Happy and Healthy Cat. It’s also filled with eternal and divine wisdom! May we all Be the Change! Wooooowooooooooo!

With my blog furrriends

I’m coming to the end of only my fourth month of sharing my story, haiku, and poetry, and can’t believe how many wonderful, silly, and sweet blog furrriends I have made. And I make more every day! Wooooohoooooowooooooo!

So, I’d like to thank all of you. You’re not just furrriends, you’re family! Tell your Moms, and Momz, and Mamas, and Mommys, and Mummys, and Dads, and Daddys, and Papas to cook you all up some super duper pawesomely dewishus bacon because we’re celebrating being a family! Woooooooowoooooooooo!
