Me working on my chapter.
Woooooooowooooooooooo! I’m a lucky pup because I get to write another chapter fur Rocco’s NaNoWoofMo where pet bloggers collaborate (Mama had to help me with that word!) to write our furry own novel! And here’s today’s chapter…
There were eight look-a-likes in all! Who were they and what were they all doing in the forest? Before I could bark, the alpha dog stepped right up to my nose and growled. My instinct took over and I growled back, the fiercest, deepest growl I’ve ever growled!
This frightened all of them and they cowered back a few feet. “Who are you?” the alpha dog asked.
“My name is Marvin,” I said, “and I want to live free like my ancestors! I am part Siberian Husky so I think I can figure out how to hunt and make a cozy den in the ground.”
One of the others, a cute female, spoke up, “We all are out here on our own too. We’ve formed our own pack and I’d be delighted if you joined us. My name is Bella and I’m the real Alpha, just like our ancestors had a female as the alpha of their packs. Grumpy here is my little brother. He’s only two and doesn’t know how to behave yet.” As she gave a piercing look towards Grumpy.
Oh pup, my very own pack! We decided to call ourselves the K9 Gang since there were now 9 of us. It was getting late, and we all fell fast asleep. I was in the middle of a dream about me and Bella romping through a field of wildflowers when I was shaken awake. Efurrybuddy jumped up startled, but the shaking didn’t stop. It was an EARTHQUAKE! Terrified we all scattered into the forest and when everything settled I was once again alone.
“Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo” I howled out like my ancestors, and I waited fur a response…

Oh my goodness! What an exciting chapter!!!! We will be doing Day 20 and I can’t wait to see what I can come up with to keep the story this exciting……We love how you did this chapter Ku……..one of the kids books my Mom wrote a while ago was about a little kitten who started his own “pack” in the woods! Nothing like creating your very own FAMILY when you have to………..

What a surprise! The poor pup thinks things are starting to go good and then something totally unexpected happens. You’ve got me drooling to find out what happens next.
