Doggie Day Care…

KuDayCare

Me furry scared my first day at day care.

We went to day care

Fur the first time last weekend

I was furry scared

But Nalle stayed by my side

And then I got brave and played

Hewwoooooo Efurrybuddy! This past weekend Me and Nalle went to doggie day care fur both Saturday and Sunday. Mama was working at a Fair and thought it would be best if we had lots of pups to play with all day instead of leaving us alone at home fur hours and hours and hours. We never went to day care before, nor had we ever been without Mama fur such long, long, long treacherous amounts of time. (Before Nalle became my sisfur, Mama once went away fur a couple of days, but I had a cuuwoowooooote babysitter in my own home.)

The first day, Mama talked to us on the drive there, and she told Nalle to watch over me and stay by my side to help me feel less anxious. Here’s what the report card said fur day one:

DayCare1

Nalle listened to Mama!

The second morning, Mama talked to us in the car again, and said I would be more comfortable and will have lots of fun playing with other pups. Here’s the report card fur day two:

DayCare2

Mama was so right!

Day care was not so bad. I would go again, but prefer to be with my Mama. 😀  Wooooooowoooooooooo!

Nalle singing her heart out at day care! Wooooooooooooooooo!

  1. OMD! You got report cards…and they were grrrreat!! Well done Ku, we are so proud of you, you were very brave. Well done also to Nalle for being such a super-star of a sister!

  2. Bailie goes for a half day every Wednesday morning just to get used to being on her own sometimes and to learn to play well with others. She likes it, but isn’t real crazy about it.

  3. Your report cards are soooooo cute, and I just love that you and Nalle performed a little concert the next day. I think Miss Nalle could become quite the diva. 😉 Happy to hear that you warmed up to the day care experience. I’ve never been, but I’m pretty sure I’d have a very, very good time . . . although I might get in trouble for talking too much. I love to talk. 🙂

  4. Oh poor Ku….you look scared in that first photo but it sounds like once you realized Nalle was there with you and you just might have some fun – you did!! Still, I agree with you – there’s nowhere better than with Mama!

    Hugs, Sammy

  6. Awwwww. In no time you’ll be looking forward to going and seeing your friends. My friend Jasmine (who looks a lot like you, except she is all white) likes to play with friends but she’d rather be with me. Nobody is every going to be like your mom. Anyway, have fun, no matter who you’re with. Hugs sweet pup.

  7. My brave KuBear, I know how challenging this was for you. It is scary to meet so many strangers at once. So good you had Nalle and her reassurance with you. Wonderful progress you made, very proud of you, sweetheart!.

Nalle darling, next is a duet with Pavarotti!.

    ~Sending my love ♥ ♥

  8. Awww, Ku, what a lucky pup you are that you have Nalle at your side! I felt similarly as you in the kindergarden but I had no sister or brother who could have given me a calming paw!
It would be great if you could meet your new friends at a dog park!

  9. That final photo cracked us up. Now that you have done this and got along so well, we bet you find yourself there more often. That’s just how humans are. XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

  10. Looks like you had fun at doggie day care. When our Tucker went to puppy camp (as we called it), they called him “the gentleman” because he played so nicely with others. They even used him to “interview” other campers. It’s funny because at home, with his brofur and sisfur, he’s a wild man. 😉
