Sweeney Ridge…

We hiked up and up and up

With our new backpacks

photo 5-2Wooooohooooowooooo! Mama took us hiking this morning even though it was toasty here in sunny California. Back in Washington we always could find rivers and streams and snow to quench our thirst, but not where we live now. Mostly we hike around our mountainous city with its big pawesome parks, but Mama was finally able to afford to buy us our very own backpacks so we could carry the large amount of water we fluffy snow pups need in the heat! They are supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

  1. Looks like a great hike. Yes it is warmer here in California…but it won’t be cold and rainy – or at least not as much. But, then again, SlimDoggy Jack has short fur – it’s probably hot for you guys. You’ll have to get your mom to find some water for you to jump in! Thanks for joining the Hop and sharing your hike.

  2. What wonderful backpacks you have!! they are stylish and practical 🙂 what pretty mountains and a lovely hike you both had 🙂 have a blissful day sweet ones hugs Fozziemum xxx

  3. What a lovely view from the trail. We didn’t know backpacks wear available for dogs. If your water is cold when you fill the pouches, they could really keep you cool while you are hiking. Is that what your mom does for you? Glad you had fun. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

  4. Great hike Ku! And you and Nalle look pawsome in your new bakcpacks…water is very important and Momz always carries lots of it on our hikes cause it’s so hot here we both get very thirsty…I have a pack and I do try to carry some of my water, but being small I can only carry part of it…Isn’t it great to take a long nap after a hike?
